There is no account and no tracking. Your notes stay in your browser.

Sunny, owner notes“I wish my dog lived as long as I do.”Updated

I'm an owner, not a vet. This is not veterinary advice, so check anything medical with your own vet.

What stays in your browser

Your log, your vet’s contact details (if you add them), your questions and your display settings are saved in your browser, under fl-store and fl-night. None of it is sent to me. There’s no account and no cloud backup, so your notes won’t show up on another phone or computer by themselves.

There’s no newsletter or contact form. An older version of the site may have saved an email address or an unsent message in your browser. Clearing this site’s data removes those, and your log too, so export anything you want to keep first.

There’s no tracking or analytics. The fonts load from this site itself. If you tap a share button or a link to another site, that site has its own privacy rules.

Backups, exports and sharing

The log can turn the days you pick into a prompt you can copy or download as text. It can also save and load a backup file of your notes. All of this happens on your phone, and nothing is sent to an AI service. The backup file isn’t encrypted, so keep it somewhere private.

If you paste your notes into an AI chat, an email or WhatsApp, that service can see them. Read them through and take out anything personal first. Whatever an AI tells you isn’t veterinary advice, and it shouldn’t replace your vet’s written plan.

Your notes are tied to this browser on this device. Back up your notes now and then, and if you change phones or browsers, load the backup there. Clearing site data, or closing a private browsing window, can wipe your notes.

The hosting company

Like with any website, the company that hosts this site sees basic details such as your IP address, so it can send you the pages. Your notes are kept only in your own browser, never on the host. The hosting company’s details and its privacy policy will be listed here.

Search engines can find the public pages. Your log is never part of them.
