I write as Cooper’s owner, not as a vet. I check facts against vet sources, and I listen to other owners to understand what people worry about. One owner’s experience isn’t proof that a treatment works.

I can’t diagnose your dog or tell you how much insulin to give, and nothing here replaces your vet’s plan. If your dog seems unwell, call your vet or an emergency clinic.
